Hi! My name is Maria, and I am a third year at Victoria College, pursuing a double major in Political Science and Criminology. I was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, and came to Toronto to learn and experience more in a new city! In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and volleyball and exploring the beauty that Toronto has to offer. At UofT, I’ve participated in all sorts of activities recreationally, like badminton and swimming at Hart House; I have also run several study groups registered with the university, known as RSGs. As of the fall semester, I will be a member of the University Tribunal and, of course, with utmost pleasure, one of the international mentors this year!

I also like going to the gym with friends, and exploring new cafes around Toronto! I am really excited to join the IM team this year, and I am looking forward to meeting everyone!!
