  • Where: Around Vic Campus (Meet in the Quad)

    Description: Now that you've registered, we're excited to introduce you to your Transition Mentors! These upper-year peers work throughout the year to support you with your transition to university. In your groups, you'll learn more about Vic, UofT, and even our famous Orientation cheers.

  • Where: Meet in Vic Quad, Around the campus 

    Description: Join your Transition Mentor groups as we explore every corner of Victoria College and UofT and compete to be the winning team. Be prepared to be on your A game as we cut corners and find the best routes for our daily campus commute! You'll have loads of fun and never get lost on campus again!

  • Where: Vic Quad 

    Description: Welcome to Orientation 2026! Come to the Victoria Quad for your official welcome to Victoria College. Here you'll have the opportunity to meet the Dean of Students, Victoria’s President, and our wonderful team of Orientation Executives. The team will also fill you in on some crucial information you'll need to know for the week! 

  • Where: Vic Quad

    Description: Following the Opening Ceremonies, join us for lunch where food is provided for all Victoria students. Lunch in the Quad will also give students the chance to socialize and meet their peers!

  • Where: Isabel Bader Theatre

    Description: Learn more about how we can maintain and uphold our culture of consent at Victoria College.

  • Where: Old Vic 

    Description: This is your opportunity to have 1-on-1 and small group conversations with your Orientation Leaders. Ask them questions about programs and courses, career opportunities or university life in general!

  • Where: Vic Quad

    Description: Learn more about what student groups Victoria College has to offer! Representatives from Victoria University Students' Administrative Council (VUSAC) and Vic’s levies will talk to students over a delicious dinner. Incoming students can sign up for newsletters, ask questions, and get free merch. It’s a great opportunity to get involved and find organizations that you’re passionate about!

  • Where: Isabel Bader Theatre

    Description: It's time to crack a laugh as you watch your leaders put on a smashing show! Join us for a night of fun where leaders will perform dramatized university tropes, musical parodies, and more! Come and enjoy the show!

  • Where: Old Vic (Alumni Hall)

    Description: Come join us for a fun, high-energy, casino-style game night! *No real gambling*

  • Where: Ned’s Cafe

    Description: Grab your friends and join us for board games, video games and more!

Tuesday, September 1

  • Where: Isabel Bader Theatre 

    Description: Students will get to hear more from Dean Kelley Castle and Head of the Registrar Yvette Ali.

  • Where: Old Vic

    Description: Here you will have the chance to learn about the wide range of supports and services available to students, and all the knowledge you'll need to be prepared for your transition to university life! Smooth sailing is guaranteed for all attendees!

  • Where: Vic Quad

    Description: Come meet some professors and alumni! Have an opportunity to chat with them over lunch in Old Vic! Whether you know exactly which program you are interested in, or are still figuring it out, you can enquire about programmes of your interests, network, and meet some of your peers (and potential classmates)!

  • Where: Margaret Addison Field

    Description: It’s time to get energized! Join the leaders as they teach you the orientation dance and cheers as we celebrate and create memories to last a lifetime!

  • Where: Northrop Frye Hall

    Event #1: Learning Strategies: NF119

    Description: Are you looking to make the most of your university experience? Want to set yourself up for success in your new Vic Life? Join us for an interactive session where you will walk away with a plan to maximize your first-year!

  • Where: Alumni Hall in Old Vic

    Description: Meet new people and learn more about Victoria College and the University of Toronto by playing a fun game of Jeopardy!!!

  • Where: Cat's Eye and Piazza

    Description: You don't need skittles to get a taste of the Vic Rainbow! A space for LGBTQ+ folks and allies to gather with crafts, music, snacks, and activites.

  • Where: Vic Quad

    Description: Prepare to get involved on the Vic campus. Grab some food and chat with the representatives of various clubs and student groups at Victoria College. This is your opportunity to find a new hobby, meet like-minded people among current and incoming students, and learn more about student life at Vic! 

  • Where: Margaret Addison Field

    Description: Join us for an action-packed day of sports at Victoria College! Head over to the Margaret Addison Field for exciting games!

  • Where: Old Vic

    Description: Ready to light up the dance floor? Grab your neons, brights and tights, and head over to Old Vic to dance the night away with friends and a live DJ.

  • Where: The Cat’s Eye

    Description: Get ready for a fun and laid-back night of bingo... with a glow-in-the-dark twist! Wear your brightest colours and enjoy a night of good vibes, music, and many prizes to be won!

Wednesday, September 2

    Description: Get to know Victoria College and University of Toronto resources to center wellness and identity in your life!

  • Where: Margaret Addison Field

    Description: It’s time to get energized! Join the leaders as they teach you the orientation dance and cheers as we celebrate and create memories to last a lifetime!

  • Where: Old Vic (VC 323)

    Description: We understand that university can be a confusing time and that you may have questions about what happens after orientation. Whether that be ways to get involved, the best libraries to study at, what breath requirements are, or just about anything else, this event is a must-go for you to address those questions. 

  • Where: Isabel Bader Theatre (meet in the Quad)

    Description: The Traditional Ceremonies begin with a warm welcome from the Victoria College administrative staff, who will share words of encouragement and positivity with the incoming class. You'll also get the chance to experience Vic’s rich history and time-honoured traditions — including receiving your welcome card and the iconic silver “Vic” pin. Join us at the Isabel Bader Theatre as the future meets the past in one of Orientation’s most cherished and long-standing ceremonies!

    Description: Grab dinner with the don teams, and learn more about our residence and commuter student supports!

  • Where: Vic Quad

    Description: Grab some popcorn and get ready to unwind with your fellow first years! You might even be able to spot a UofT reference here and there on-screen!

  • Where: Cat’s Eye and Ned’s Cafe, Trinity College and St. Mikes college

    Description: Come and see a showcase for the arts at Victoria College, Trinity College, and St. Mikes College! This is a great way to learn about the various artistic oppourtunities at Victoria College as well a meet students from different colleges and explore the campus!

Thursday, September 3

  • Where: Vic Quad

    Description: Cheer as loud as you can for Victoria College at the Pep Rally! Join all of the other colleges in an epic college cheer-off at front campus.

  • Where: In Vic Quad

    Description: This is a fun opportunity for you to spend time with your friends, meet new people and (most importantly 😉) eat ice cream!!!

  • Where: Vic Quad

    Description: While the clubs carnival continues, come join us for lunch is the quad.

  • Where: Event #1: Puppy Therapy (Wymilwood Lounge)

    Event #2: Yoga (Vic Quad)

    Event #3: Tote Bag Painting (Vic Quad)

    Description: Take a break and join us for a relaxing afternoon of puppies, yoga, and tote bag painting! Choose your own path to tranquility and recharge!

  • Where: Old Vic

    Description: Get to know other students in your program! Socialize and make friends to navigate first day of classes together :)

  • Where: Vic Quad

    Description: Get to know the variety of student-led cultural associations across campus! Grab some food and chat with the student leaders of different campus-wide groups. Come celebrate diverse identities and places of belonging within and beyond Vic!

    Description: Join us for an action-packed day of sports at Victoria College! Head over to the Margaret Addison Field for exciting games!

  • Where: Cat’s Eye

    Description: Get ready for a true "high note" of orientation! Join us at the Cat’s Eye and showcase your musical talents by performing your favorite song on stage, or simply come to hang out and cheer on your friends. 

  • Where: Wymilwood Lounge Trivia Night; Ghost tours meet in GSC atrium, Around Vic

    Description:Looking for a quieter way to spend the night, come join us for trivia night to socialize with peers while showing off your trivia skills! An added bonus to experience the spooky side of campus and embark on eerie ghost tours.

Friday, september 4

    Description: Join your TM’s for fun morning activities!

  • Where: Old Vic

    Description: Join us in the Vic Quad for an exciting outdoor festival! We’ll have giant inflatables and carnival games to enjoy!

  • Where: Vic Quad

    Description: Come meet some UofT Staff! Have an opportunity to chat with them over lunch in Old Vic! Whether you know exactly which program you are interested in, or are still figuring it out, you can enquire about programmes of your interests, network, and meet some of your peers (and potential classmates)!

  • Where: Margaret Addison Field

    Description: Join us for an action-packed day of sports at Victoria College! Head over to the Margaret Addison Field for exciting games!

  • Where: Cat’s Eye

    Description: Step into the spotlight and share your talent at our Open Mic! Whether you're a singer, poet, comedian, musician, storyteller, or LITERALLY anything else--this is your chance to shine. Join us for an afternoon of diverse performances and support your fellow performers in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

  • Where: Cat’s Eye

    Description: Get crafty and celebrate new connections by making friendship bracelets, or build your very own time capsule to look back on. Make new friends while you create your very own keepsakes to hold on to from orientation!

  • Where: Vic Quad

    Description: Grab some dinner and chat with your peers on the last day of Orientation!

  • Where: Royal Ontario Museum

    Description: Join us for a collaborative dance at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) with St. Michaels and Trinity College! Meet new friends from other colleges, explore one of Toronto's best museums, and participate in fun activities!
