Orientation is a great opportunity to become familiar with Victoria College and its community. Every year a group of Orientation Executives strive to provide the incoming class with a wide variety of events that welcome you to our campus! After residence Move-In on, September 2nd, Orientation officially kicks off at 8am, September 3th and runs until, September 5th. (Psst - more evening events throughout the week)
Orientation 2018 will be more jam-packed with events than ever before – you certainly won't fall short of things to do! A "commuter" is a student who travels from home in order to get to class everyday - in other words, pretty much everyone who does not live in residence! Being one of the only colleges at U of T to offer extended programming exclusively for commuter students, we here at Victoria College aim to provide you with a memorable introduction to university life. Prior to September's Orientation Week, Commuter Orientation, or "Comm-O" as we like to call it, is a weekend of programming exclusively for our incoming class of commuter students - and yes, you can go to both O-Week and Comm-O!
All students who register for Commuter Orientation are guaranteed a room to stay in for Saturday night, and food throughout the weekend. Activities planned include talks on university life, information sessions, tours, socials, and lots of fun! Registration is now open so mark your calendars for this years Comm-O Aug. 11-12.
