Advice for new students: Be so abundantly kind to yourself and your peers! Your whole world is changing in an instant and you’re doing the very best you can do!! Don’t hesitate to reach out for support!

Year 2 - Global Health Specialist & Physiology Major
Talk to me about: How to navigate first-year life-sci pre-reqs, pros and cons for all the libraries on campus, and where to find vintage photobooths in TO! You can talk to me about anything, but please don't talk to me about the Toronto cold, you will be stuck with me complaining for an hour.
Fun fact: Every year I attempt to learn how to cartwheel and miserably fail- but I learned to photoshop so now I can pretend like I've succeeded.
Hana Greenberg (she/her) | exec
Year 3 - Political Science, Applied Data Science and Creative Writing
Fun fact: I can speak 5 languages fluently!
Advice for new students: Don't be afraid to put yourself out there! As a shy person, I understand firsthand how hard it can be, but I promise it'll make your university experience so much more fruitful. At a school as big as UofT, I can guarantee there will be a group with your niche somewhere. Reach out and be open to new experiences :)
Isla Parekh (she/her) | exec
Year 4 - Classical Vocal Performance, Immunology
Talk to me about: Sourdough bread, musical theatre, and all things music!
Fav orientation memory: My favourite orientation memory was the dance at the end of my own orientation. The dance was such a great way to get closer to the people I had met over the week! The music, food, and ambiance was so fun and I am so excited for this year's ROM dance!
Kaela-Marie Paty (she/her) | exec
Year 3 - Physiology and Global Health
Fav orientation memory: My favourite orientation memory was at the black light dance in my first year. I was having fun with these girls I'd met in the previous two days. Little did I know they would become my best friends and some of the most important people in my life today!
Fun fact: I moved to Hong Kong by myself when I was 16
Katie Grant (she/her) | exec

Fun fact: I use the sparkle emoji like it’s punctuation✨✨✨
Advice for new students: Take everything at your own pace!!! Coming to university is a really big change, so don’t feel like you have to figure everything out right away. Everyone is on their own unique journey, so seek out opportunities and get involved on campus when it feels right for you!
Ozge Dinc (she/her) | exec
Year 4 - Pharmacology & Physiology
Fav orientation memory: My favorite part was definitely the Sports in the Field events because they made it so easy to meet and connect with so many people at once, while also creating memories we still talk about today. I even have friends still debating who actually won our frisbee rivalry from orientation!
Advice for new students: Use your first year as a time for exploration – try new clubs, courses, spots around campus, or hobbies. You’ll be surprised by how much university can broaden your perspective and open new possibilities, helping you feel more confident and comfortable in this exciting transition.
Sophia Lee (she/her) | exec
Year 3 - Linguistics
Fav orientation memory: My favourite orientation memory was canvas painting! It was one of the first events I attended. I put "FROSH 2024" in the middle and got all the new people I met to make thumb print hearts on it. It's been on my desk since and is a super cute memento!
Fun fact: I make the best chocolate chip cookies!!
