new to Toronto?

The International Mentors offer support with your transition into the city and the Vic community. The International Mentors work closely with the Assistant Dean, International and Upper Year Students.

Your international mentors are Upper Year International Students who have first-hand experience with a successful transition to the city and campus community. They are selected and trained to provide peer support to our incoming International Students.

Our International Mentors, in conjunction with the Office of the Dean of Students, help support the following:

1. Run International Student Orientation for our incoming International Students

Each incoming International Student at Victoria College will be placed in a group. Each group will be led by an Upper Year International Mentor.

2. Send regular emails with important campus updates to their assigned group of International Students.

3. Organize fun biweekly events that will help you connect with other students and get to know the city.
